Found this piece to be completely useless and out of touch. Most people don't use designers. Was looking for information such as what materials stand up to hard use, maybe some mistakes that people tend to make, what are some bang-for-your-buck ideas that are easy to implement in your plan. (Sometimes it really is the small things that make a difference in day to day living). Maybe some smart lighting design plans.
Great Design Takes Time
While you might dream of remodeling your kitchen for an upcoming major event—a wedding, a baby on the way, or an anniversary party—keep in mind that it often takes a year, from the first stages of planning to the final product, to give you the kitchen of your dreams. An understanding of the process and a realistic timeframe can help you enjoy the process as much as the result. Here are 10 steps you should know before you get started.
@ ccsmith... there are two sinks in this kitchen. One is the circular one and the other is in front of the large window.
Love this kitchen. Only change I'd make...put the sink under the window (I like to look out while at the sink).
