Absolutely great symmetry! normally I shy away such symmetrical patterns but the lines here combined with the curved island are gorgeous and pleasing to the eye. Very well done.
Let There Be Light!
Picture this: It’s 1950 and the kids are playing in the backyard. A doting mother watches from the window above the kitchen sink as she dutifully rinses the breakfast dishes. Fast-forward to today and not only is there a whole host of people who use the sink, but it's not even located at the window anymore. It's installed in the island. Just as the entire look and function of the kitchen has changed with time, so has its window design. Kitchen windows are now a point of style, a strategic way to transform the overall look and feel of a room. So don't underestimate their design power—get inspired by these five cool ideas that are sure to brighten your kitchen's entire personality.
This is the kitchen I dreamt of all my life. My first apartment was a garage.
From there we moved around a lot & I never owned anything nice. My daughter is getting married in October and we want her to feel proud to bring her inlaws here. We painted & bought new carpet & ceilings. But that kichen is from 1970. Oy!
My mom used to say a brite kichen will welcome angels . I always am looking for her now in bright light .
Thanks

Incredible island.....love it!!!
Love the window bench, provides storage and a cozy breakfast nook or a place a read next to lots of natural light.
