Get in the Groove
Concrete counters must be poured, so they can be molded to any shape. Just left of the sink, this homeowner, designer Thomas Buckborough, had a wavy pattern imprinted into the acid-etched (or stained) concrete counter, which slopes slightly down toward the sink to create a draining board. For a seamless look, he also designed a sink with a concrete basic and apron front.
