One current must-have is a built-in or integrated refrigerator. You have the option of wood panels matching surrounding cabinetry to make the fridge look like a piece of furniture, or you opt for stainless steel as a shining accent in your kitchen. Also trendy are retro-style refrigerators for traditional or whimsical kitchens. These refrigerators look great paired with an old-fashioned style range like an Aga, La Cornue, or Bertazzoni, all of which come in fun colors to match the refrigerators.
Some very great ideas. As a designer and contractor, I find that clients use their kitchen differently and the requirements & luxury trends may not be appreciated by all. But we do what we can to improve their lives. its fun.

Trash compactors are great. We pay for garbage service and I can have the smallest can every other week with my compactor. Also no cold walks outside to empty the trash daily. May be "old fashioned" but I am sold. Also could be good for recycling bin.

I agree with the instant hot water feature, time to go but the trash compacter can still be quite useful. You can minimize the plastic from the trash bags and why not compact the recyclables.
