Myth #1: White is hard to keep clean

2 of 7

Fact: The right materials can make all the difference. New and improved stain-resistant countertops, sinks, and flooring give you all the beauty and elegance of white without the traditionally dingy surfaces. Some manufacturers offer pre-sealed granite countertops that keep spills—even wine!—from leaving marks. Other smart choices for white countertops include recycled glass, engineered stone, and quartz. Discuss your options for white countertops, sinks, flooring, and cabinets with a professional designer who can guide you toward materials that are easier to keep clean so dirt, food spills and other stains aren’t an issue.

I love the open feeling this kithcen gives. The shelves allow for you to "Display your individual" taste in housewares selections, making them easily attainable and adding to the warmth of the room with baskets and your personal taste on display.

I must be traditional too because this says boring, plane and just too im from the planet mars. Ug

I would definetly add in more wood accent to add warmth. The ceiling beams, the base of the island and even make a counter wood. Boom the kitchen that is white would be warm too!

Keeping the counters dark, regardless of the material, would keep the counters clean looking for years to come and add to the contrast of the room.

I love the open, clean feeling the white gives, without looking like a hospital. The cupboards are stylish with the panels and hardware. The glass doors open up and show off all your favorite collections!

I have a beautiful white cabinets and they are badly in need of painting. I have decided to paint them white again, after long consideration of a "color". Counter tops are black granite. What I do not like are the stains that occur quickly on the cabinets. Is there a paint that can be used that will help to eliminate that? Help please.
