There was a time when all-white was all the rage in kitchen design. While white kitchens will never “passé,” per se, color is the new name of the cookspace decorating game. It makes sense to go bold in these rooms: While you might opt for a more soothing scheme to help create a restful bedroom, kitchens are typically high-traffic, high-energy spaces and thus can handle more high octane palettes. If you need another reason to embrace new hues, consider this: Freshly painted cabinetry and walls, a painted floor, new hardware, or even a different backsplash will give your kitchen an instant update without the time, pain, or expense of a total redo. Pick a palette from one of these five fresh color schemes—then make a call to your painter.

Next section: Garden-Fresh Green

I am a bit surprised that you didn't include a lavender or a purple in the color choices. That color seems to be very popular in a lot of kitchen accessories.

This reminds me of the 80s colors..
