I have a small kitchen 9x10. I would like kitchen design.
Start with the Basics
Basic kitchen colors are usually neutrals in shades of cream, brown, and black, along with natural wood and stone. They're a popular choice for walls, cabinetry, ceilings, and floors because they create a perfect backdrop for dramatic accents—or you can use them as a foundation for a subtle monochromatic color scheme.

Here's another tip: What is YOUR favorite color? Don't let anyone tell you it won't work. It will. You can find a way to use it in your kitchen, even if it is just used in small amounts as an accent color.
For instance, if your favorite color is a deep cobalt blue, but your kitchen is in a dark depressing corner of your house, paint it, say a sunny yellow, and add bits of your blue in tile back splashes, cabinet hardware, etc. Bring in a third color to tie it all together in a fabric on chairs, curtains, shades or whatever. You know how to do it. You just need to be brave.
This is a treasure chest of design ideas. As a Southern California home owner with one foot in NYC design and architecture I am thinking about a warm white kitchen with an ebony counter and perhaps some soft antique Spanish tile. I especially like the work of Goralnick and St. Charles. Dorcas Greene

I like this
Building lake house. I stay in my kitchen more than I am out of it. So everything needs to be in right place for convenience. I want it to be light & airy, a really welcoming place the place where everything starts & ends. The room where everyone is relaxed & wants to join in & cook. Or just take a little or sample alot!
I'd really love to not have to click 7 times to read what is essentially a 1 page article.
How about a "view on 1 page" option or, heaven forbid, a "print" option?
I agree!!! Cultivate has great info, but the continual clicking and tapping for 1 picture and 3 sentences gets seriously OLD!
I love all these tips. We're renovating our whole upstairs which is partially open plan. I've picked out the basic colours but have been struggling with whether I'm on the right track. All 9 of these tips are really helping gel it all together.
What a find your page is!
Thx
