Move over Twitter and Facebook, there’s a new social media powerhouse in town! Pinterest.com, is a new virtual cataloging and sharing site—and it’s taking 2012 by storm. A way for people to save and share all the beautiful things they see on the web, it’s especially popular amongst tastemakers and design lovers (like you!). You can follow online inspiration boards of friends, designers, bloggers, and popular magazines to see what pretty pictures are piquing their interest. Check out what has caught our eye.

little frustrated as I can't get to the "walking on all floors" site. Would have really like to view it. Even tapped on enlarge button to get to the follow site but was sent to contest site. I have enginered wood flooring in my kitchen & really like it. Was interested in your options for flooring. The rest of my home has red & white oak solid wood floor except for the den which has wall to wall carpet over cement. Don't care for the wall to wall there.

We are currently in the midst of a huge kitchen makeover..so may decisions...would love to see some ceramic back splash idea boards..

Finally! A contest after my own heart! European inspired decor just brings out something wonderful in me. I especially love the French and English Cottage styles. I aspire to bring this flavor into my small Missouri home. It will happen some day!
