Choosing a favorite kitchen design is like choosing a favorite type of ice cream. You love the fudge flakes in one flavor, but you really crave the caramelized sugar swirl in another. And that one with real red velvet cake pieces and cream cheese frosting? Well, that just makes it impossible to choose.

We feel the same way about the kitchens on Cultivate. With so many creative kitchen design ideas, gorgeous materials, and beautiful layouts to admire, we each have long lists of kitchens we love. That's why we need your help selecting our first-ever Cultivate Kitchen of the Year for 2012

How did we choose the 15 finalists? Last year, we featured 51 breathtaking kitchens in our weekly Kitchen of the Week email (sign up to receive them by going to My Cultivate, then clicking Settings). We narrowed this number down to 15, based on which designs you liked most.

Now, we need your help choosing the final Kitchen of the Year winner—and we're raffling off a $200 Williams-Sonoma gift card to a random Cultivate member who votes for the winning kitchen.

HOW IT WORKS: Head to our homepage, and cast your vote where it says "Vote for 2012's Kitchen of the Year!" Check the box for the kitchen you think should win. [Note that only one vote per kitchen will be counted for each Cultivate member.]

We encourage you to invite your friends on Facebook to join in too. Happy voting!

I vote for the Photo by: Courtesy of Jason Urrutia
Designed by: Jason Urrutia. Beautiful contempoary kitchen design w/ clean lines & a touch of flair w/ the pendants. LOVE IT!!!!

I voted for Dennis Prior's design. It made me smile. With the broken porcelian on the white backdrop. Along with the old fashion appliances.

I voted for Designed by: Urrutia Design, Photo by: Matt Sartain Photography

I vote for Photo 2, by designer Jason U. this kitchen appears to be in a small space, yet, he made it appear to have space in a tight space. The room as a whole has a streamline appearance with warmth and style. Modern does not have to be boring. Love it!

I love the kitchen designed by Jason Urrutia. The photos of the great room and other parts of the area are fantastic!

Number 2 is much to monochromatic. I feel like I'm inside a carton of french vanilla ice cream -delicious but a bit boring. I think the third brings everyone together with elegance and depth.

I vote 1 or 2

I vote 1 or 2

love the kitchen designed by Ken Linsteadt , so open and light what a joy to cook in every day

i actually liked the black-on-silver kitchen designed by jason urrutia the best --however the turquoise kitchen designed by dennis prior was the one that got my vote. i felt that it went beyond the standard products one would find in the store & relied far more on creative means.

Love that kitchen!

wanna blend the kitchen with view of pool and the stainless steel one with blue chairs
