Karen Harautuneian brings a fresh approach to interior architecture. Whether she is designing a kitchen or a full interior, her originality and personal touch can be seen in upscale residences from La Jolla to Sausalito, as well as in destination locations such as Montecito, Sonoma, Park City and Kilauea, Kauai. Karen’s unconventional style has developed over the years through formal education, informal experimentation and extensive travel. Her work ranges from Bohemian Modern to Avant-garde Traditional and has been featured in both national and international design publications. Recognized by her clients for her insightful understanding of their desires and for her ability to deliver according to expectations, she always manages to please even the most discriminating. Karen sits on the board for The Avenues Art, Fashion and Design District of West Hollywood. She is a certified interior designer in the state of California and has a B.A. in Mass Communication Studies and a second degree in Interior / Environmental Design. Both degrees from UCLA. Karen lives in Manhattan Beach, California.
