This clean, crisp and light kitchen supports the clients desire for a fabulous entertaining kitchen. The design is timeless and at the same time contemporary. It was a traditional house built in the forties and while respecting the history of the architecture, is updated with all of the modern essentials. There are two dishwashers and enormous separate built-in freezer and refrigerator. There is a large eat-in peninsula as well as a large island. The layout is very functional with various zones for each function. There is also an octagonal breakfast room with built ins that was added. The white cabinetry is timeless and contrasts with the dark granite countertops and dark floors. The large pendant light fixtures over the island serve as a focal point. There was a large section of wall designed for a large painting from the owners collection.
