This project involved a complete re-do of an out-dated and dark kitchen in a 1929 English Tudor. Walls were removed, windows and doors were replaced, and a "great room" was created for family living. Leaded glass windows were used,in keeping with the rest of the house, and the molding, wainscot, and other architectural and cabinetry details are also appropriate to the style and age of the home. Dark hardwood floors, softly honed limestone countertops, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry and lighting all contribute to a comfortable, inviting, and ideal family room/kitchen space.
