Originally this NW Portland loft had a kitchen layout the new owners liked but the finishes were worn and not their personal style. We were able to leave the existing cabinets and paint them a lovely grey/blue tone. The former counters were 12" granite tile. We removed the tile and laminate back splash, and traded it in for poured concrete counters and amazing glass tile. The clients described the look they liked most as warm industrial and I believe that is what the remodel provided for them.
