This kitchen (before) was a bit too bland for the new home owner. She wanted it to have more personality. The issue was everything was brand new. There was no point in ripping it all out, the challenge was to work with what we had and make it more artistic and fun. I had the cabinets painted in a poppy green that made them burst with energy. The wood insert panel was replaced with a lumicor recycled content resin panel. New handles and pulls were added to the cabinetry. We added some chalkboard paint accents at kids heights, under the island and on the side of the fridge to add a playful element for them.
