A young couple building their dream home wanted a kitchen designed to accommodate family and friends and still see the beautiful creek and marsh. The 'copper' hood was the homeowner's dream but the expense was not feasible. The hood was and finished to appear as copper. We actually used 'rivets'. The mantel was designed along with corbels and arch over sinks. Lanterns over the island refer back to the outdoors. The custom island contains the prep sink and wine storage. The island is made of mahogany and also holds the wine rack.
