The homeowners of this classic Prairie style home in Oak Park, IL wanted a modern kitchen conducive with todays lifestyle. We referenced many Arts & Crafts details but added modern touches in their styling and finishes. A shaker door style was used, but made with a wider frame which is more modern. Satin nickel, rather than brass was used for the hardware and light fixtures. Open shelves and glass fronted cabinets showcase the homeowners pottery collection, including pieces from her own talented hands!
