The kitchen was designed to stay with the period of the 1940's home. The floor plan is two galley's that meet a in a "T" shape. This allowed more work space for this small home. Also, it helps connect it to the living area and the dining area. A serving bar and pass-thru was created where a walk area used to be. A new opening at the end of the sink connects the dining room to the kitchen for easy access. Painted cabinetry with a lot of charm makes this kitchen, along with centering the range/oven on the wall opposite the pass thru from the dining area. Pendant lights hang above in the pass thru. Small pullouts are hidden behind decorative legs. Under cabinet lighting with decorative trim at the bottom of the upper cabinets adds to the ambiance.
