This custom kitchen designed for a family of 5, give them all flexibility to be able to all spend time in the kitchen, but still allowing someone to cook. From the large custom island with seating for 4, to the large pantry closet, which allows for over size storage for appliances and food. Also the built in bookshelves house a storage for cookbooks, and also a flat screen TV. All the cabinets were custom designed and then built by a custom cabinet company by Karen Paullin of Kitchen and Bath Design. The countertops are all Calcutta gold marble along with the subway tiles on the backsplash. The dark white oak wood floors match the adjacent living room which is opened to this kitchen by a large cased opening. The large 11'-0" ceiling height allows for upper glass cabinets for additional seasonal storage. All the appliances are Sub-Zero and Wolf products, from the microwave, to the ice maker, to the ref. and range top.
