A kitchen renovation in a one bedroom apartment in Chelsea, NYC. The 1980's rental apartment style kitchen was renovated with a more custom higher end look for the food, wine, art critic client. The flooring is a resilient comfortable linoleum sheet floor by Forbo in a faux crocodile pattern in espresso brown. The walls are painted in Farrow & Ball paint. To keep costs down, IKEA white cabinets were used. LED lighting inside the glass upper cabinets and under/task lighting. Instead of a dishwasher, the homeowner opted for a wine refrigerator. A 24" wide Fisher Paykel electric range is very elegent and performs very well. The project is about a year old and the client raves about this range. A custom stainless counter top and integral sink maximize the sink dimensions and keep every thing easy to clean and sanitary. A pullout spray faucet by KWC is high function, space saver faucet. The back splash tile by Waterworks is opaque glass tile that looks like oyster shells. It adds that WOW factor. That is the place where we splurged on the budget. The whole project was about $25,000
