The idea of this kitchen was to take it in its original state, and the idea of a boutique hotel and amp it up. Make it feel like your staying at the traditional luxury hotel for the quality (Four Seasons/Hyatt/Fairmont), but be much more trendy and forward in ideas and design. It was a great layout, but needed more storage for things like pots and pans. The island also needed to be used as an eating area, so a new island was created with plenty of storage. This kitchen was designed to be a glamorous one, made for large parties and daily entertaining.
